Left Handed Safety for 1300 Winchester

I'm sure some of you have heard this before but if I had the answer I wouldn't ask this question.
Most folks reading this probably have more experience than I do with regards to shotguns. So please pardon this one but........
Does anyone know of a left handed safety modification that can be made to a Winchester 1300 Defender? Actually I have 2 1300's one is a Defender, the other a hunting model. But both 1300 Winchesters.

And for those that may say get a Mossberg, well I just like the feel of the pump action as well as how the 1300 "fits" my frame. They swing beautifully, not very heavy thanks to the aluminum (did I spell that right?) receiver and the pump action is so fast, well I just like the 1300.

If it'll work on the 1300 it'll work on the 1400. I'm all ears, figuratively. I've not found such a safety, yet, and I've googled, but not for the 1300. Hmmm.....

Thanks a bunch. I just ordered that part. Mine's a "Ranger" and has the plastic trigger guard. I don't know that this part will work in the 1300 as it says it's for the 1400. Hmm, but it should fix ME up if I can take the trigger guard apart. Hope I don't have to resort to a gunsmith for that. I need to take it out anyway for a good cleaning.

Being a lefty, this will make me much happier with the gun.

-edit--- Odd, but I went to the e-gunparts 1300 page and they don't even list a left hand safety, hmmmmm..... The one for the 1400 is only 17 bucks with shipping. You might talk to your gunsmith and see if it's the same part. My son-in-law has a 1300, but he lives across town or I'd inspect 'em closely for you and see what I thought.

Hmm, further thought, the part number you PMed me, #237310 matches the metal 1400 trigger guard number. If you can use the one for the plastic trigger guard, I think the 1400 will work. My order went through. Wait and see if they send me a backorder e-m I guess.

Hmm, well, not an exact match. I notice the 1400 part number is "#237310A Maybe you should make a few inquiries on this before ordering?

I think the parts are common between the 1200, 1300, 140, 1400, 1500, 1500xtr.
You may want to verify though.

I do appreciate the input. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for this safety and hope, wish, ask that if anyone locates and installs this left handed safety, that they please contact me to let me know where they got it, how the install went and how it operates.
