There used to be an "Upland Special - Winchester 1300 Speed pump" that had a straight, English style grip. I essentially, "made" one by buying a Wichester Ranger 120 - 20 guage, switching the stock and fore-end and wall-la, it looked just like a upland Special, speed pump. Now my gunsmith says he can't switch the safety to left-hand and "he's never seen one that is left handed". I say B.S. as I have 3 in the past (two 1200's, 1 - 1300) that I had swithced to left hand. He says the Ranger 120 has some sort of wire attachment that prevents the operation of the safety in the left hand mode. I say there is a way to do it, even if the entire trigger assembly has to be replaced; anybody out there have any ideas (besides get a new gunsmith, witch I intend to do, anyway)
