I am a sucker for a deal sometimes. Even if it is something used to experiment within my firearms hobby. Buds Guns Shop has the Legacy Sports International Pointer Field Tek 3 Bronze/Wal. 12GA 3+1rd on sale for $250.
Here is what I think I know...The pictures and videos I see of the Legacy shotgun barrel says made by Armsan. That's the same folks that make my Tri-Star Viper G2 shotguns. In fact watching a teardown video it appears to be the exact same internally as the TriStar G2 Viper shotguns. The only difference I see is slightly different hump in the back of the receiver which is a cosmetic difference. Even the bolt release and trigger group pin looks exactly the same. The barrel appears to be the same as well. I noticed the little box with the chokes is also the same.
Disclaimer: I also know it is a bargain made shotgun and not a Beretta or Benelli etc. That part I am not debating, and that isn't my question.
Any of you own one of these Legacy Pointer semi auto shotguns? What can you tell me about them?
