I’ve come to a point where I want a bipod on every rifle that needs one.
This year I began purchasing quite a few bipods.
On all my rimfire rifles I decided to stick with the Harris S-BRM with the addition of a pod lock to lock the swivel. These are the notched leg 6”-9”.
On my precision rifles I was moving around a pair of Accu Shot BT10-LW17-V8 bipods.
My issues with the Accu Shot bipods is that they move around quite a bit because you cannot completely lock out the panning.
A couple of weeks ago I bought an Accu-Tac SR-5-G2 with ARCA mount for my 6.5 Creedmoor mounted in an MDT LSS-XL.
The features that impressed me were the ability to extend the legs without needing 2 hands.
Retracting the legs is also a one handed operation.
Push on the release lever and the legs spring back closed.
I was so impressed with the quality that I ordered 2 Accu-Tac BR-4 G2 with Picatinny mounts.
I also bought some spiked feet and the additional claws that attach to them.
