Let boys play with toy guns, Nurseries told

You have to love kids. They are born without the biases that all adults have and struggle with. Kids see all toy guns as toy guns, not 'assault toys' 'Fudd toys' or even 'tactical tupperware toys' and the label of Mall Ninja isn't even in their vocabulary.

And now--wait for it.....the UK govenment today announced a BAN on toy guns--yes, that's right; toy guns -or replicas--- it's the same thing.
and who is the government minister ordering the BAN??
Why a woman of course- Home secretary Jaqui Smith and she just made the world a safer place.

The 4 nerf guns we got from Santa came with "laser" sights. My son in kindergarten and 3-year-old daughter loved the guns. My son enjoyed shooting my new .22 rifle.

Funny how many of us were raised on violent John Wayne/Charlton Heston/Eastwood movies, but we also learned to channel our aggression to worthwhile activities and to defend righteous causes. Violence is in the world; it's what we choose to defend that separates the good guys from the bad guys.
