I know some of us carry every day.
On 9/11 I am going to make it a point to carry all day, even if I dont leave the farm.
I hope anyone who can do so legally will do the same.

This is a very bad idea in my opinion. Do you really want to make it look like we gun owners are trying to exploit 9/11 for political reasons?

Not the right way to memorialize 9/11 imo. Two unrelated topics. I'll say a few prayers myself and think my own thoughts, and try to stay away from everyone hijacking the emotion of that day for their own agenda.

Not saying that's you though. Mostly sick of 9/11 being used to whip people into a frenzy about this or that politically.

Let's not....

Take 9/11 to think about the victims, veterans, first responders & their family members. Let's show our support to them & let them know we care.

Rusty

9-11 this year is also Patroit's day.... I'll be at work in a cubicle so carrying isn't on the menu. Does truck carry count? That happens everyday

+1 Rusty. Personally, I plan to spend some time reflecting on those we lost that day, and their loved ones, as I have each year past.

Amen.

9/11 is not a day to try and make a point. It is a day to remember and respect.

Ill be carrying on 9/11 just like I did on 9/10 and will continue that practice on 9/12. I carry daily but I do not advertise that fact nor will I ever.
I will not declare 9/11 anything other than what it is, a time to reflect on an American tragedy and remember the heroic efforts of first responders as well as a time to pray for the families that were affected on that day.
To exploit 9/11 as "national carry day" to some how help 2a rights or conceal carry rights is no different then the antis exploiting the Sandy Hook tragedy to further their agenda.

I don't think that piling on any agenda other than remembering those who lost their lives on 9/11 is going to be treated as acceptable. Since no one seems to think it is a good idea we'll just close this and reflect upon the day.
