They aren't the greatest, but here's pics of my new Smith 638.

Dangit, Dhart that 581 has got to be the carry revolver based around the S&W action and the 357 magnum.
I have a 581 and am looking for another to have Mark or S&W do the same thing.

Brian.... yes, I think a 3" 581 is the pinnacle of a .357 fighting gun! You should move on your custom plans!

I just realized I had left out several snubs I have. Here's one that is nice and shiny:

Very nice pictures, C&L. I particularly like that hear comb pretending it's a blade next to your S&W 19. :D Have one just like that too. :)

I carry this little guy all the time now.

The same 10-7 from earlier in the thread. Wears Ahrends grips and a trimmed hammer. When I'm done with my new 10-5, I'll rotate them. (10-5 is my snubby with shotgun bead front sight, and compac pro grips waiting for the moonclip cut and conversion to 9MM to be done.)

Cocked and Locked,

I have a 19 just like that, except mine had the action worked and the barrel ported by MagNaComp. It is amazing how well the gun handles with those little grips! I can empty a cyilnder with full-bore loads and it just stays on target.

Here is the M438 with a proper wooden stocks and Tyler T-Grip. Also pictured, a nickel Model 38 and a Model 638 (no dash).
