Let's Give up our "Armor Piercing" Ammo

Sure, why not. We really need to stop all of these horrible acts that are being committed by these crazy AR owners, taking out all those nice people with "armor piercing" rounds. I mean, have you seen the news?! It seems that every minute I'm faced with horrifying news about how some nut just took out a battalion of armor wearing cops with high powered, armor piercing, titanium tipped, poison dipped ammo. It's scary.

Do these people have any idea what their even trying to do by banning "armor piercing" ammo to us lowly, irresponsible civilians? I have 30-06 full copper hunting ammo that will blow through an tank. The answer is "yes", they know what they're doing. They start by banning "armor piercing" ammo through the ATF, then pressure nationwide bans on lead ammo through the EPA. Just keep on banning the very thing that makes firearms work. No offense, but usually anything from Infowars (Alex Jones) is usually sensationalism at best and gross distortions at worst.

Yes, Infowars is a bit skethchy and definitely alarmist. But the article I point out concerns the representations of a former FBI agent who infiltrated the Weather Underground. The interview was given well before Infowars came about. And is the agent's allegations about the WU really that far fetched? Look at who those people were and remain. Their ideal forms of governance were the Soviet Union and China, nations that had no problem wiping out millions of their own for the purpose of a "grand social experiment" (as Stalin referred to communism). And it all draws back to what I point out: why are those people so very afraid of Americans who own firearms? Why are they ALWAYS targeting our right to bear arms? What are they afraid of? The short answer is that they can't fully "transform" America when millions of us stand apart, and are well armed. Keep in mind that the ideas about governance of the current administration fall much more in line with the ideas of the WU than with the people who log onto this fine site.
