Folks, I love THR. Our discussions on here are top notch, and most of us truly take THR. That said, we need to start posting our views more on local and national news sites. On THR we're preaching to the choir, but if you peruse any major news web board pertaining to gun control (and they're all over since the VT shootings), you'll see the rampant ignorance.
For example, every quote and "statistic" I've seen arguing for gun control comes from the Brady center president (e.g. "High-velocity clips", "high-powered clips", "packing heat", etc.). His "statistics" are even more full of garbage. The news media are quoting him as though he's an objective source.
Let's continue posting here and start posting more on news boards that are not predominately pro-IIA rights. Many of you have been doing that already, but I just started. In light of all the gun control debates getting spotlight attention lately, now is a great time for us to spread the truth and some actual knowledge about firearms. Let's get out there and debunk some myths and lies!! Now is a great opportunity for us!
