With the feeing of another gun law push in the air, I am proposing we put our money where our mouth is.

What I'm going to do is lay $20 on the table, the first post to provide me a link to their favorite 2A group, I will go donate that $20 to them. Then you lay whatever amount you are willing to donate "on the table" and let the next highroad member provide a link for your donation, and so on.

If you provide a link for someone to donate to, you then must be willing to donate however much you can afford to the next poster's link.

So here's my $20... provide me a link.

I round up a buck plus on every Midway order, and also do the same thing for any business that offers it. The need is always there.

You've got a great idea, but we need to remember that the need for funds doesn't come and go.

Definitely agree with that walkalong. I donate to nra-ila often and am waiting for someone to dictate where my $20 go so I can have them send some funds there and then lay another $20 on the table.

Ok, I will go first.
Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners. www.mcrgo.org
They do ALOT of work for 2A and concealed carry legislation. If you are a member they have nearly immediate help with legal questions. Great organization.
If you live in Michigan you should be a member.

Now where can I send my $20 ?

Here you go.

Make that $20 act more like $50

And no, they will NOT verbal spew a single statement about 1 small piece of plastic on 1 singular firearm platform after 1 nut goes off, giving anti's months of talking points, govt bans at all levels (city, state, fed)

I’m not going to play but. I’m in on $20 for Gun Owners of America as they’re who I was going to suggest.

1st cup of coffee :cool:posting strikes again, H_PhD. Edited my post after reading your response and if you so prefer would appreciate same.

Sorry things are tough now. So I can’t do $50. I will do $20 and I was planning on joining GOA so this is a good reason to scrape the pennies up and do it. A few months ago I upgraded my NRA membership to Life member “in honor” of those who hate the NRA.

Based on the thread it looks like it might be doublemag with money on the table as hokie didn’t play but rather just donated.

So I’ll go around again...

Doublemag here is your link... NRA-ILA

On the table: $20

So someone send me another link.

You got me motivated to renew my NRA membership. I have a hefty vet bill looming at the moment, but when that is in the rearview mirror I will join Rocky Mountain Gun Owners as well.

Any money you donate to MCRGO goes straight into the Board of Directors pockets. Better that you donate to Michigan Gun Owners https://www.migunowners.org/forum/content.php

Welp, too late. Already donated.

Since I have a 20 on the table right now, you can offer up that I donate to your link and then you place a donation on the table to be offered up

I can't donate at the moment. I live on my Soc Sec Disability payment. I've even had to start a Go Fund Me Page to get my car repaired so I can use it to get to the store to buy groceries.

Fair enough, I hope things get better for you ol friend.

Knee jerk reactions like this only fuel bad decisions. It is this type of reactions that lead to price gouging and soaring prices on ammo and guns because the disparate will pay any price, so vendors and manufacturers will raise the price. People have a tendency to go numb and what used to be an exhoribitant price becomes the norm...life fuel prices for example. This is a typical “ chicken little” response. Sorry the sky is not falling and this solves nothing.

Wow, excuse me for trying to raise money for institutions that we should be supporting anyways.

Donating to a cause does absolutely nothing for inflating ANY market. I didn’t say let’s all go buy cases of pmags. If you have nothing better to contribute, please move along.

This is something we should have been doing all along.

Thank you all for reminding me to contribute to the NRA-ILA.

Dear XXXX XXXXXX:

Thank you again for your generous contribution! Only with the continued leadership of patriots like you can NRA-ILA defend and strengthen our Second Amendment freedoms this year.

Your generous contribution of $25.00 will be charged to your PayPal account. Please remember that contributions to NRA-ILA are voluntary and not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

Thank you again.

Please print this receipt for your records.

''Well, so where does someone want my $20 to go?''

https://www.gunowners.org/contribute.htm:)

FYI since no comment box was available when I donated, I sent them an email about this:thumbup:thread.
Also to all, most of these top tier organizations have a shopping area where you can buy a coffee cup, hat etc. Proceeds goes to ''the cause''
