Now that I see how often people shoot the crap out of targets to make a big hole in the middle, I understand why all our target backers at the pistol range are always ruined!

I agree there are several members here that spend a lot of time and money practicing with their firearms. And it definitely shows. Great shooting guys.
I did some shooting this afternoon. Almost finished the break in of my PM9. Still not able to get everything inside 8-10ring past 7yds. I should have taken a pic of a target I shot with my XD9. I had done some close shooting and double taps. Then I put up a new target and decided to step back to 20yds to see what I could do. I took a knee resting my elbow on my other knee. The first two shots(extremely slow fire) I put em about a 1/2" apart, about 1/2" left of the bullseye. Then the target fell over(wind). I set the target back up and continued to shoot. No other shots came even close to the first two, and I completely missed the target a few times. I always seem to screw myself when I start shooting good.
S&W M&P full sized 9mm at about 10 yards, offhand. There were about 4 different groups of rounds on this target from 4 different guns when I decided to see if I could keep 5 shots in the red circle with the M&P. The .75" group, at the bottom of the red circle, is the result.
By the way, I went through close to 500 rounds that day...with 5 different guns. Can't afford to do that too often. As I was shooting my $18.30 cents a box, Wallyworld, WWB's my buddy informed me they just went up to $19.60.
