That's due to Photosucket's attempt at extortion.Sorry guys, I don't know why it looks like that. Haven't used this pic account in a while.
Live those detachable magazine Marlins. Do they make a 30 rounder for that?
For a handful of years now, any time I’m shooting a 22LR rifle, it’s always and exclusively for a purpose, one or another. Whether hunting, training my son, or practicing for precision rifle, it seems most of my 22 LR shooting these days is burdened with purpose.
Except my Chargers. Shooting long range with Ruger 10/22 Charger pistols is one of my favorite ways to spend a rare, free afternoon. A rare opportunity to unsaddle from purpose, and do something I truly enjoy for the sake of it.

Nice, just enough restoration without losing the character that comes from age. Here’s one that I bought from my neighbor. It’s an 1890 Winchester in 22 Short. It was once his Grandfather’s rifle. He said that as a kid he shot it a bunch and said that as long as he could remember it didn’t have a front sight.
It had spent the last 30 or so years in the laundry room next to the washing machine.
With some tender love and care, and a few parts, it’s now a nice shooter.
Visiting upper part of my State on a sort of 2º honey moon (no kids, etc..) we came across of a local show.
My wife asked me which do you like, your birthday is coming soon, so she grabbed for me.
