S.D.M- I like the Fuzzy Farrants, have a similar looking set on my Security Six but they are Cocobolo...don't know the maker.

F.I.U.O. Great shot of the 27 no dash, the finish still looks liquid, one of my favorites.
----------------------
Looks like the 28s and Blackhawks have lasted well.

I rarely shoot my 1976, 28-2 anymore..getting about time to take it for a spin.
My only Blackhawk is a 7 1/2", 30carbine, accurate but loud.
Those 4", .357s sure look handy, need to give the SA .357s a bit more attention. Thanks folks

My oldest 357, and oldest gun, is a GP100 from 1994. I don't think it would really fit in with the beautiful classics being posted but I do want to follow this thread so I thought I'd post something. Carry on. Please!

Yes it would. Think of it as the grandchild of a lot of the guns posted. The GP100 doesn't take a backseat to many, it's a fine gun in its own right.

50 shots 15 yrds offhand with a hot load of 2400.

This is my 1939 Registered Magnum. It was one of the original 5500 odd 357 Magnums back when that was it. It is the 1939 Camp Perry Prize gun and was speced out by the winner. He had good tastes for accuracy as you can see.

They are not the oldest or the prettiest but they be mine!!!

Old Model Blackhawk 1963
Colt Python 1977

Ok, here's my 1994 GP100 with its companion '95 SP101, my first two guns. At the time I thought I had a perfect handgun battery. Then I kept reading gun magazines. The madness still hasn't stopped...

Can't really say how old for all of them but they have been at my house for decades.
5" M27/6" M28 (Highway Patrolman)/Python (in the pic is my M15)/my old M19 I carried as an LEO in the early 1970s.

pendennis -- Outstanding example and great pic. How long have you cared for that one?

7mmb -- The 1994 GP100 is certainly welcome,I wish some of mine were older/rarer too.:D
I've had the .357 for about three years now. It came out of an estate sale, and it's a one-owner gun. It was used for bulls eye competition, and even had a trigger shoe attached.

I've put about 300 rounds through it, a mix of everything from wadcutters, to 158gr JHP's.

Some sweet additions, thanks folks!

Peter M. Eick... thanks for posting the 1939 RM, the Camp Perry connection is a huge bonus. (The box of Winchester, S&W .357 staynless in my pic is from 1939 as well)

7mmb...nice pair, you were we armed with those two.

Driftwood Johnson .. the 1962 Flat Top BH still looks new!
Outstanding to have the box with your 27 no dash as well...wish I had more boxes.

Salmoneye...I like guns from 1976... always a bonus to me. The grips and Damascus knife look as sweet as the revolver.

S&W 13-3 from the 80s is my only .357, and the only one I need. Shiny RM and holster worn Pythons can't tempt me. No, they can't!

Doesn't mean it's the only one I want. :D
