OK. I bought a beautiful SS CZ75B and want to make a holster for me to belt carry. Thing about my situation is as follows. I am right handed. Because of age, injury, and physical size, I have a hard time reaching across my front to access a cross draw. Small of back is hard too. Straight strong side can be hard because of shoulder mobility.
What I have thought of though, is making a thumb break retention belt holster to wear sort of in front of my right pocket , angled back slightly for a smooth draw. Sort of like a cross draw, but worn on the right side, with the muzzle pointed (don't laugh please and spare the guffaws) toward my groin. I'm thinking a seat belt could still be used without much problem, and I control the weapon easily. An untucked shirt would conceal the gun, and if there was any printing, it's not a big deal since open carry here is OK. Please give my thoughts a bit of consideration, and suggest some things I may be missing before I go to the effort to make a holster. Thanks. Don.

The placement is commonly referred to as the Appendix position. The original Summer Special (back in the 60s) was designed to carry a Colt Commander in that position
