Letter to the gun-grabbers of San Francisco

Jim, you put a lot of paitence and work in that reply. With rational people that might have worked. With these moonbats shoot on sight is the proper response. They will gladly do the same to you to get their way.

I'm largely aware that it's "useless" as far as these people go. This was an excercise in getting my own thoughts together.

Probably worth publication somewhere...

Very nice piece there Jim, excellent one for "fence sitters" to read, but for those who wrote the hate mail ... they're a lost cause.

About as effective as trying to explain algebra to your cat.

Save the emails Jim and collect them in an archive or something to update the equal CCW website. I found the reading very entertaining. Just think if they where printed and distributed in SF.

Jim, it's pointless. they won't listen no matter how much sense you make.

In all honesty, since they obviously can't make it past a high school debate team, they have no business being taken seriously in the setting of public policy.

that's exactly why we have what we have right now and people like chris daly in san francisco city hall making decisions for the rest of us. you must take them seriously and either educate them or drive them out of business.

I commend you for writing that letter. Very well done.

I did go to http://www.peakoil.com/fortopic18021.html and found the following reply:
All this logic and all these facts mean nothing.

Guns should be banned because they are inately evil.
Written by TommyJefferson who says they are from "The Republic of Texas"

I think their use of the word "republic" is a little contradictory to their replies.

Logic and facts mean nothing!? :scrutiny:

Guns are inately evil? I would surmise that observing someone ascribing nullness to fact and logic, one should not be surprised by that comment, especially since innately was misspelled by the writer.

I suppose this critter would promote the ending of all forms of education, particularly government schools, as learning in his world is a futile act. We could save a lot of tax money in that regard.
