Leupold RX-IV range finder problem

I bought this RX-IV with TBR, a couple of years ago. It's been an amazing tool both in the hunting field, and at the range. But several days ago I was using it and it just stopped returning range for no apparent reason. I haven't dropped it or other wise done anything to damage it. I did all the usual things to try and resolve the problem, replaced the battery, and I cleaned the lenses.

It's on the way back to Leupold, but I was wondering if anyone else has one, and has it had a similar problem, and how did Leupold treat you?

Stalker, Leupold will fix it as you know. They do have good customer service. I haven't heard of any problems, I'm sure you checked the battery....

I'm hoping Leupold will treat the same, as they have with non electronic optics, which to say they've never charged me a dime.

Mine quits randomly, especially when I don't want it to. If I remove the battery and put it back in, it works for a while.

Well, I mailed it to Leupold on 3/27, and today I got a rather small package back. Inside was a brand new RX1000i TBR RF! I have yet to be disappointed by Leupold's legendary CS, it's no doubt the best in the industry.

Now it's time to go play with it, which will be on my up coming New Mexico archery turkey hunt, as this model has TBR for archery, the RX-IV didn't have that feature for archery.
