I just sat down this evening and did an smooth up job on my new Rossi using Steve's Gunz DVD as a guide. The DVD was very good. I am pleased with the end result.
. . . a better word than "repeater" to convey my meaning?
LOL Same here.I opened this thread only because someone called a lever action a "repeater." What is this, 1870?
I assume you're referencing me. Do you go into a gun store, point at a lever action and say "show me that repeating rifle."It's always interesting when proper terminology confuses people.
I love the 1873! My Uberti .38-40 is a great shooter but they're no lightweight and the .357 will be even heavier. I think they're best as big bores.
Here's the Davidson's page for a color case hardened Rossi .357 but it's out of stock.
Not very difficult to add one threaded hole for a tang sight. I did this for my 1873.

No, I'm usually more specific than that."show me that repeating rifle."

Usually a party consists of talking face to face to actual living people. Not exchanging written (often poorly so) messages on a computer screen. You must be fun at a party with that sense of humor.
And this is well written?.....
Accidental double post, genius. And this is well written?
