Has anyone had any quality time with one yet? If so what were your thoughts?
Ever since I bought my Silencerco Saker a few years ago I've wanted to pick up a dedicated lightweight hunting suppressor. The Saker is bulletproof and great for range applications or use on an AR, but for toting around the high country I wanted something as light as possible. For a while I've been fixated on the Thunderbeast line, I've had a chance to shoot a few of the Ultra 7's and they are awesome cans. However, whenever the gun fund filled up enough to buy one there always seemed to be something else I wanted more.
Then I saw that Capitol Armory was selling the new Sovereign for almost 40% off MSRP. After a few days of research I bit, $653 shipped for an all titanium 12.7 oz, 7.2" can, with three mounts and a mirage cover was too much for me to pass up. So in a month and a half or so, when the Form 3 goes through, the oppressive wait will begin.
I'm the mean time, I'd love to hear any experience others have with this new can!
