So this thread go's along with my other thread in the rifle section, but I figured it would be most fitting to keep that one focused on rifles, and this one on the can itself.

I currently have a Silencerco Sparrow and Saker 762, but I'm looking to round out my stamp collection with a pistol can. My main goal right now is to set up a subsonic, suppressed big bore deer rifle. I'm leaning towards the rifle itself being a Ruger 77/44, but I need to settle on a can to quiet it down. The suppressor I chose will also be used on pistols, and possible other rifles it's rated for.

The main can's I've researched are the Silencerco Octane 45 HD, and the Liberty Cosmic .45, as I know both of them are rated for .44 Mag. Of the two, I'm sort of leaning towards the Cosmic, if only because it's rated for so many different calibers. That said, there doesn't seem to be much info out on it's performance on different pistols.

I'm curious if anyone has heard these two cans, and how they compare. Also what other .45 can's are rated highly right now?
