Lightweight Gas 20 ga vs 28 ga Semi or O/U

The only reason I would buy a 28 gauge shotgun over a 20 gauge equivalent is to have the shallower, more petit frame that comes with a "true" 28. I would never be interested in getting a 28 housed in the frame of a 20 gauge shotgun. Likewise, for the same reason I wouldn't consider getting a 16 gauge shotgun housed in the frame of a 12-but that's just me.
