That makes 59, or 63 if you count accessory barrels for the 1911 as seperate guns, which I personally do, as they are drastically different from one another in shooting characteristics.
That's 42 calibers, 43 if you count the Steyr-hahn's ability to still digest 9mm Steyr. Hmmm, I think I need to diversify a little more. Lessee, .454 Casull, .22 Hornet, .218 Bee, .250-3000, .264 Win. Mag., .225 Winchester, .38-55, .40-90, 7 x 57, .338 Win. Mag., .404 Jeffrey, 8mm Mauser, .425 Westley-Richards, .375 H&H, etc., etc....
And maybe take up handloading. Costs a lot to feed the family.
And NO, I do not have a desire to own a .223, or any of those goofy Ultra-Shortaction-Whizbang-Pleasebuyanewgun contrivances that the big manufacturers are churning out lately. I have too many old calibers to catch up on.
.223's a pistol round anyhow. So there.
The only reason I can do this is the pre-existing list made it easy, otherwise it's too much typing. Lets me spout an opinion or two also.
Edit: Forty-FOUR calibers. That archaic Mk. I Webley'll still run .455's, but NOT fullmoon clips, believe it or else. Hah! (Like that's some sort of achievement for a damnfool like myself who doesn't reload.
