Anyone do a fluff and buff type polish on the AP primer slide.?
I called Hornady and the Tech said it is "normal" for the slide to be dinged up from hammering into the primer punch? Guess I do not think that dings and dents are normal?
So has anyone polished or rounded off the edges, sides, whatever to make the darn thing work each and every time?
One or two out of 50 the thing sticks and doesn't deliver a primer. Do not know if it is the slide or the primer punch?
AND.....
Whats with the last primer hiding in the tube? It shows itself then it doesn't , cycle the press ,no primer, then oops there it is?
Just trying to mess with me or what!
Yes I have watched this guys video, there are so many!!!
And this guy who put me to sleep and wants to re engineer the whole system, Soon as some good old boy says "take a little meat" off.
Ain't going there!
