I'm looking for a load for 327 Fed Mag, 85Gr Hornady XTP with Power Pistol, Unique H110, or Bullseye. Seems all the load data I can find don't use powders I have. And witch one of y'all bought all the 100gr bullets?

Sorry I can't help with load data because all I use in 327 FM is 100 and 120 gr lead. I never could get the lighter stuff to shoot worth anything. The H110 will probably be a waste with something that light, would probably have better results with the faster stuff.

Check out lead if you haven't already, im pushing MBCs 32-20 120 grain to pretty impressive velocities using Enforcer. Cowboy #6 100 gr works well too for lighter 327 and 32 H&R loads.

Still looking for load information with Unique, PP or BE with 85g XTP. All ideas welcome.

Are you looking for max loads, min loads?

Loaddata.com has a lot of data, and I don't see those powders for the 85gr. You can interpolate from a few data points:

  • What does a 32 H&R Mag use for that bullet. Its max load could be your starting load in 327 Fed.
  • What do other bullet weights in 327Fed use. I see some data for the 115gr, so you should certainly be able to use that powder level to start also.

4.7gr of unique is a max load for a 85gr in 32 H&R.
5.0gr of unique is a max load for a 115gr lead bullet in 327 Fed.
So you should be able to start at 5.0gr of Unique with the 85gr bullet.

3.9gr of bullseye is a max load for a 85gr in 32 H&R. This is a large case to be using bullseye...

All of these loads are with standard primers.

Well, I started working up my load today. Below is what I am at right now.
Ruger SP 101 3.06" barrel
85 Gr Hornady XTP
Win 296 Powder
Tula SPM primer
Started at 12.8 worked to 14.0
Easy extraction, primers are not as flat as factory loads and recoil is still lighter than factory. Now it's time to crono the load.
