I am seeking information on load data for the 200 grain XTP using WW231. I have not seen the data but have been told the 11th edition of Hornady's manual lists 6.8 grains as the maximum. I would appreciate any info on this or any other reliable source load data using WW231 above 6.0 grains.

Lyman #49 shows 6.1.
Hodgdon shows 5.9.
Hornady #6 showed 7.2!!!

That sounds a little energetic to me!!

And you can get higher velocity with the same or less pressure safer using several slower powders.

Can't speak for this particular loading, but I have been very happy with the later Hornady manuals data. They have given me loads that are very accurate, verified with me chronographing their loads. You are very likely to get realistic duplication of velocities, etc, if you follow their specs.
