Hi, new reloader here trying to get more info on loads using sr4759. It's listed as useful for reduced power rifle, and also handgun. I'd like to try it with 230gr hard cast lead 45 and also 55gr fmj 223. For the 223 reduced power for target shooting. Looks like about 16gr would be a good starting point and maybe work down until I get cycling problems and or complete burn issues? There is no loads for this powder in any of my books. Seems like a non popular powder which is probably how I was able to get my hands on some. Any input would be appreciated.

17.5 Grs and a 55 Gr FMJ cycled the action of my 16" mid-length AR and ran right at 2700 FPS. It seemed like a safe enough load with hardly any flattening of the primer. Still fully round on the edges. It was at 100% Load Density.

Awesome thanks. Good to know I can even fit my staring load in the case! Also good to know double charge is not a possibility haha.
