Hi
I'm looking for reloading info using remington 147 gr BJHP bullet using bullseye powder. With components harder to come by these components are what I have on hand and I would like to load some 9 mm. Does anyone have a recipe or point me to a place where i can find one. Thanks Shimmy J.

Check a reloading manual for a load. Safer than someone else's word. If you don't have one it might be a good idea to buy one.

Current Alliant online data does not show a listing for Bullseye for 9mm 147gr. They do show current data for 124gr bullets with bullseye.

Archived data on handloads.com shows old published bullseye loads from 3.8-4.2. 4.2 is max. COAL is 1.14. This is older Alliant data that is no longer listed on their website. You need to cross reference this data with another current source. Lyman is probably a good manual for you to buy. It seems to have the largest selection of powders.

The fact that you can't find any loads for 147 grains indicates to me that most likely BE is not recomended. This is because it is too fast burning for this bullet.

I've used ramshot competition to work up an excellent plinking load in 9mm w/ 147gr PHP. Ramshot comp is very close to bullseye in burn rate. The velocity was low <950fps but recoil was very mild and function and accuracy was great.

I see no reason why a decent plinking load couldn't be worked up with bullseye. It will be slow and soft for sure and I would stay very light with the charge. This combo is never going to be a full-house load.

Published data does exist from alliant. It is just older and archived. They list other powders in their online guide now. They most likely pulled the bullseye load since the velocity is pretty unremarkable.

BE is too fast for 147's. The fastest powder I use with them is Green Dot but Blue Dot is ideal.
BTW, I have been loading for 50+ years and my powder selections reflect that. Might be some really good new powders available but why argue with success?
