I have been loading 270 with 130 grain SST’s for my 270 and recently picked up some 130 grain interbond and loaded them with the same load as the SST’s at 60 grain of H4831 but they didn’t shoot the same anyone else load these?

Yep, the SST is basically a hollow point on steroids and the Interbond is a middle of the road SP. You will find to seat them differently for run out. SST will seat very close to Hornady's recommendations and the Interbond will seat .0030 out from from their spec. I shoot a push feed Model 70 in 270 Win. and my son shoots the newer re-introduction Model 70. Both guns shoot sub-MOA with those loads.

Like mentioned, start long and seat deeper in .005" increments. If you jump too much you could pass right by a sweet spot.

I always load to max magazine length to start with. Then seat deeper to dial in the node. Most if not all my ammo is for hunting and in bolt rifles so feeding from the mag is paramount.

There is a difference in those bullets, just need to tweak your OAL some.

I was taught that with any component change your node can and mostly will move slightly therefore a re loader will need test a bit on each side of the original node to re-aquire.
This has Proven to be true in my limited experience.

I didn’t realize that that minimal of a seating depth would make that much of a difference (still haven’t tried it yet) I always just went off the recommended seating depth in the book
