Loading 45 ACP 250 gr LSWC

I have inherited about 400 SPEER 250gr LSWC bullets. I cannot find any data for the 250gr bullet. I have 700X and W231 powder, if anyone has specifics for those, but what I need the most is cartridge length.

Does anyone have any data for me on these?

If you can't find any data just back off the powder a little from 230gr data.

I hope they will feed for you. They probably were intended for the 45 Colt cartridge.

The 250/255 gr.bullets are intended for .45LC and almost no one uses them in .45ACP. Stick with the 200/230 gr. bullets and you will be a lot happier. Trade or sell them on the net. You will have to seat them too far down to fit in a mag or having feeding problems with them seated out too far.
