Looking for suggestions in loading for my M1A. I would like to put together a 147 grain military duplication load. I have various reloading manuals, but being a semi auto, I want the proper pressure curve for this piece.

I'll pick up small base dies, but was wondring what is the best powder to use? I use IMR 4895 in my three Garands, so am I assume this powder would also be good for the .308/7.62?

Yep, great powder for your application. Assuming you are using milsurp brass, somewhere's between 43.0gr and 44.0gr of IMR4895 will work fine.
