Loads for my Garand?

A few months ago I bought 2000 150 gr FMJ M2 pulldown bullets and 8# of IMR 4895. Once I figure out the best load for my Garand, I'll have something to keep me busy this winter.

Talking to some other reloaders and reading threads here, I loaded up rounds of 47.0, 47.5, 48.0, 48.5 and 49.0 grains of the I4895. Lake City once fired brass with CCI primers.

Am I on the right track with these loads?

spunds about right to me....I use 49.0 grains or IMR4064 under a 150 hornady spitzer in Greek brass and all is perfect with the world
