The Pistol Parlor in East Greenbush has closed for good...they were closed for "inventory" and I had heard that the owner was trying to sell the place(after she drove it into the ground)...but they opened friday and saturday and sold everything(except guns) at 50% off.....so good news, bad news.I guess.I got some ammo and a Houge grip for my SP101($10)....the place was mobbed.......I feel bad that the place closed, but there are some other gun shops in the area....anyway the left over guns were at cost(I think) and they were going fast..On friday the guy behind me in line had bought my old GP100 that I had traded in a while back...good to see it's going to a good home.:D
I'll have to travel a few miles now to get gun stuff, but I'll do it......hopefully some one else will open a gun shop in E.Greenbush soon...:(

The sad thing about a gunshop closing is that it means they had to send all their old 4473's to the BATF.

Don't worry, though, the F-troopers would never copy all that data into a big database or anything.

As a kid, ahem, young man, I could walk either north of south for 15 minutes to get to a gunstore. Today I have to drive 15 miles :( and society is soo much safer.

Hey TonyB, I stopped by there on Sat. I drove by & thought they were open again. I didn't know they opened up for the 2 days to clear inventory. By the time I got there, the place had nothing I ws interested in. I'm sad to see the place close, they've been there quite a while. When you were there was there any black rifles at decent prices? Tim

I am sad at ANY gun shop closure ....... the numbers of FFL's is dwindling ... look back 20 - 30 years .... it's never a good thing.

I am thankful that within a 30 minute drive radius .. I have about 5 or 6 to choose from.
