I recently came into possession of several vintage Mossberg shotguns (185D; 195; 200K). I am trying to find out where the serial numbers are lcoated if any. Have any ideas? Additionally, I am looking for a stock for a 200K. Any clues? Thanks,

Mike

There was a time, in years past, when firearms manufacturers didn't bother putting serial numbers on their guns. How old are these Mossies?

I've got a Mossy 500 with no SN. The dealer just put "NSN" in the serial number blank on the 4473.

I have the approx 1962 vintage Mossy 500 that belonged to my late father-in-law. Can't find any numbers on it anywhere, other than 2-3/4" chamber stamped on the barrel, and 500A on the bottom of ther receiver.
