Lone Wolf refinishing

I have a Gen 2 Glock that has a considerable amount of holster wear on the slide. I am considering sending it to Lone Wolf to be refinished. They are very affordable. Has anyone had experience with Lone Wolf with respect to their refinishing work.

I know slide wear adds character etc. I'm not interested in that discussion just whether lone wolf does good work and/or possible alternative.

I wouldn't do it. I bought a G20 barrel from them with the black oxide finish and most of it came off (barrel hood) in no time. It is nothing like the Tenifer treatment Glock uses, I don't care what LW says...........at least not on mine. YMMV.

Hard to go wrong for $25.00. I just wish they would stop posting these sorts of silly remarks in an attempt to entice people to buy something though:

As you say, Tenifer is a treatment, Black Oxide is a finish...

I was considering them for replacement parts for my g19. I was told to stay away by a few people here. I found a good alternative here. http://www.ccrrefinishing.com/index.html . I haven't done it yet, but Sig forums like them.
