Long LOP 22LR

Son is looking for Semi-Auto 22LR with long LOP. Many seem to be in the 13"-14" range and feel like toys.

So far, the best feeling is the Remington 597. Nice grip on the fore-end. Not sure of LOP, but would work.

I have a 10/22 with tactical adjustable stock that works good for me, but does not want to spend the cash.

remington used to make an adjustable length of pull "kit"...i knowit was available for the 552 speedmaster...might be worth checking out
