Long range iron sights

I am looking for range adjustable iron sights similar to what is on a sharps rifle. Not looking to spend a fortune though. I need suggestions on what to use. It's a custom build so anything I use will have to be made to work. What other guns have distance adjustable iron sights? Ak47 and sharps are the only two I can think of, sharps is expensive and ak is not very nice.

What are you using for a base rifle? Adjustable tang or peep sights or even stock sights have been around for a LONG time.

In addition, just about all military bolt-action rifles had long range adjustable rear sights.
It would not be impossible to adapt any of them to a custom build rifle.
That would be the easy part!

The base weapon is a SAA made by EMF. Currently buntline, soon to be carbine.
