Longer Picatinny rail for Rossi 22 Mag available?

My Rossi 22 WMR Semi-Auto is the resident Coon slayer but I want to upgrade optics and really need a longer Picatinny rail than what comes with them (10 slot). I'm willing to bet that the mount crosses specifictions with some other model/make of rifle but it's not matching anything I currently have on hand and an e-mail to Rossi has proven near useless. Anybody know what mounts the Rossi semi-auto uses?

Is there a dovetail on your receiver? I've never actually looked at one of the RS-22. Magnums.

It has a screw on base but the 4 holes do not match a Ruger 10/22 as I hoped it would. The Rossi response was a non-answer about the products they have online and partner vendors. It read as "we sell accesorries online, here are some other people to ask and hope they respond". They do not have a longer mount in the Rossi online shop because I had already looked. A longer rail would give me more options for my ATN night scope that don't cost ridiculous money.

If you're okay with raising your head, you might get away with the pic rail extension?

I have looked at that as an option and may end up going that way. The simplest fix is a longer primary rail but it ain't simple if it doesn't exist..lol!

Another option would be to buy a blank piece of pick rail and just drill the holes yourself, or maybe have a machine shop do it. It wouldn't be real expensive.

I am assuming the top of that receiver is flat......
