Have tried the usual catalog sources such as Midway USA and MidSouth Shooters Supply and no one has any. When I was shooting NRA Hunter Pistol Silhouette a few years ago it was easy to find. What has happened?

I think that is seasonal/special run type of brass. It is not worth the bother to them if the popular brass is selling faster than they can make it IMHO. Graffs had 25-20 Single Shot brass last time I checked but no regular 25-20.

Make your own.
If you have a set of .25-20 dies you can easily reform .32-20 brass. You WILL NEED some Imperial case lube.
Starline makes good .32-20 brass.
I use a Lee .25-20 sizer die as an intermediate sizer in forming .218Bee. Some will tell you that it's necessary to use a 7mm or .270 intermediary sizer, but I lose few cases in directly sizing to .25-20. I do however, size first in a .32-20 die. Those cases you lose to splitting, were likely defective (weak, or thin) already.

Do what GooseGestapo says, but be sure to use virgin brass that hasn't work hardened. I've also been forming .32-20 to .25-20, then down to .218 Bee. Imperial Sizing Wax works pretty good for this, too.

Hope this helps.

Fred

If you MUST use previous fired brass, its really easy to anneal the brass by holding it in a flame till you can't hold it, then toss in a cup of water. It doesn't have to be complicated or scientific with the thin .32-20brass.
