Looking for 45acp +p load info

I am loading for my smith wesson 625 revolver in 45acp and cant find any load data for +p loads . Some Factory loads by hornady and buffalo bore are +p . These would never be fired from an auto just my revolver any info would be great. thanks

Accurate Arms lists a couple of loads. In my 625's my standard carry load is 10.7 AA7 which gives over 1000fps with a 200lswc, but is well below max. Max will get you 1100fps. Be aware that the N-Frame S&W is little if any stronger then an auto-pistol when you bore .476" holes in the cylinder.

The week link is the thin bolt cuts over the chambers, and you can bulge them if you get overzealous with the powder.

How long is the cylinder? You should get some impressive loads if you can crimp a 250-ish grain .45 Colt bullet in the lube groove instead of the crimp groove. Use Power Pistol, AA#7, or WSF.

With a cartridge length of 1.35", you can get 1000 fps from a 250 grain bullet and it's not even a +P load.

I use Power Pistol for my 45 ACP +P loads.

Works great.

I shot some of these at night to compare the flash of W231, Power Pistol and H110. Power Pistol wasn't much worse than W231. H110 was huge fireball.
