I've been hearing alot of people say they cannot find any 6.8 SPC ammo for their rifles. I've got a few links for those of you who need it:

Ammunition to Go - Hornady TAP 6.8 (they ship fast):
http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/index.php/cName/rifle-ammo-68-spc

Silver State Armory - Many bullet choices;
http://www.ssarmory.com/6.8ammunitionsales.aspx

Hope this helps for those who need the ammo.

(BTW, I think the 6.8 is a GREAT cartridge - the 6.5 Grendel may make it's claims on 1000 Yard+ shots, but I'm not using this cartridge for sniping or long distance shots, im using it for a more effective CQB bullet and shots out to 300-400 yds MAX, but that's my opinion, please, no flames)

I think the 6.8 is a great deer round. Low recoil and is basically a .270 light doing what a .270 does at 250 yds at 100. I hope to see it in more light compact rifles, it's now in the Ruger compact and of course the ranch rifle. I'd love someone to make a compact light pump rifle in 6.8!

People will complain about the cost and availability of 6.8 until it is available in 1000 round cases for $200

Good luck finding even cheap steel-cased Russian 7.62x39 at that price anymore...

I like the round. My rock river ar15 in 6.8mm seems awesome. Gonna try it for deer this year.

The ammo is more expensive then 223 but so is alot of ammo that people have no problem paying high prices for. So far the 308 ammo I shoot is the same price as the 6.8mm ammo I shoot.
