I hear original Colt mags are the best but man are they expensive AND hard to find. I heard they were / are made by CProducts. Is this true? Either way, are CProducts mags for this gun any good? Any other manufacturers I should consider or stay away from? Where to buy, GunBroker? I'd like to get some before Barack O'Biden gets elected and goes nuts with the "gun control."

Colt mags work well, but as you say, they're expensive and a little difficult to find sometimes. They also have an annoying habit of blasting all the rounds out the top of the mag if you drop them or bump them against something. C-Products does make 9mm AR/M16 mags but I haven't tried them, though judging by the quality of my other C-Products mags, I'd be surprised if they didn't work. You might also consider getting a VM-Hytec mag well block - it works very well and is designed to work with less expensive and more widely available Uzi mags (unmodified).

I had lots of problems with the plastic promags in my 9mm AR. The CP's run good as do the modified UZI mags from rock river arms. It's not very hard to take a stock uzi mag and make the mag catch cut in them. Google it and you'll see some how to videos on it.

The promags work and are cheap but don't drop free and expand when loaded so you have to shove them in. You don't always get what you pay for, but you always pay for what you get.

I’ve read that the CP 9mm mags have to be modified a bit to work with the RRA 9mm AR.
