The 46 year old MK I still functions flawlessly and shoots like a lazer.
Unfortunately the currently produced ones are no were near as good

We've got all the above, but my favorite is the S&W M22A. Add in their unmatched customer service and support and it can't be beat!
The only redeeming feature of the P22 is its a very nice size to be a practice analog for a subcompact 9mm pistol but the fact that the safety rotates the "wrong" way and that it lacks a decocker, makes the analog way less than ideal. I guess the P22 would be good if you want a small pistol to mount a suppressor on, but that adds and extra ~$800+ and 2-6 month wait to the deal.
