LCR .357

Call it a manly punch. A 125 gr projectile out of 17 oz. gun at over 1000 fps. Go to your gym and take some nice bare knuckle punches at a body bag. Meow!

Yah, the Hogue Tamer helps a lot. I recently popped off 10 quick rounds of .357 through my LCR with a new boot grip. OK, that was a dumb thing to do and I knew it after the first five quick rounds but I guess I put out five more just to be sure. So for like the next three days I had to suffer through and otherwise compensate for compromised manual dexterity and strengh between my thumb and first two fingers due to inflammation around the median nerve in my hand.

So I left the boot grip on for it's inherent concealabilty attributes and loaded the gun with plus peas. Good to go right? No, not good to go.

The boot grip works great for concealment and shooting but fails if you have to carry or hold the gun around for any length of time like at compressed ready. Finger grooves would probably help a lot.

Can't Beat The Old Speed-Six

Simple answer...Get a Ruger Speed-Six, 2 3/4.... It will be the best gun going. Don't doubt me on this.
Good advice. It's just a little larger, holds one more shot and is easy to shoot full throttle loads out of. Ruger was out of their minds to stop production on the Speed-Six.

The Speed-Six here is a 3-incher. I've had people at the range
try to buy it!

I.m normally S&W all the way. This time I have to go with the Ruger guys. My LGS has an SP-101 with 2" brl DAO that is probably going to end up living at my house. It's got a little weight to it and very solid.

@MCGunner
Here is another vote to have you disclose that loading. You might just get their with buffalobore +P+, almost 1400fps and 500ftlbs out of a 4 inch glock. So maybe...
