I carry a Bersa Thunder 9 UC Pro.
13+1 capacity
Eats Everything I've fed it without a single complaint.
Not as light as a polymer but light for an all metal firearm.
Easy enough to cover.
DA/SA - I carry cocked and locked
The Only problem I've had so far is not being able to find aftermarket grips for it.
Check out the Cougar Compact. http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/stoeger_cougar.php It is the copy of the Beretta 8000L. It is easier to conceal than the 92 Compact, even the Type Ms. It is only 13 rounds, can be fired DA - but not cocked and locked. I have a 92 Compact, a Type M and an Beretta 8000L - of all of them the 8000L is the easiest to carry. It is pretty close to a G19 but not quite as thick at the grip to my hand - I haven't measured it. If you like the idea of a safety it is a good choice over a G19. I have a G19 too - I like them bpth and consider them about the same. The 8000L shoots a little better for me I prefer the felt recoil and sight picture better than a G19.
Ha, good luck -- virtually no one follows a thread to its conclusion, so expect recommendations for at least another day or two. Congrats on your purchase!
For anyone else out there with the same requirements -- I hadn't seen recommendations for a SIG P250 or a P2022 yet...not sure how well they carry or shoot (and I've seen some stuff out there questioning SIG's reliability with these pistols), but they're polymer with a DA first pull and an exposed hammer.
Expect the urge for more CZs to become overwhelming. Soon you will find excuses for why the Rami, the P-07, and even the 82/83 are necessary. You will find a "need" for a fullsize. It is unavoidable.
