I put together a 6.5x55 on a large ring and had it blued. when I got it back it was black chamber and all.when I asked about the color and the chamber and bore I was told that the way it's done.. I got it cleaned up now to get it reblued. HELP

If you just want someone to blue it try fords custom. They have lots of pictures on there site and i dont think the prices are to bad. There doing one of my 1911s now an will be parkerizing my next one.

Are you saying that you had the rifle blued already? If so what is the problem? Is it because the color is black and not blue? Modern blueing is actually a black oxide process and that is the typically what color parts come out. Chambers and bores aren't plugged when parts go through the tanks for black oxide finishes. If you send it somewhere else and asked them for a re-blueing job it most likely is going to come back looking the same.
