So I have found out that to put a stock on my Kriss vector SDP I have to do a ton of other things first. I am welcoming myself into the world of SBR and NFA weapons... Let the fun begin.
I have had a local attorney set up my trust wich I will have in my hands tomorrow and believe I have the form 1 filled out correctly and have my check made out for the $200.00.
My questions are :
Do I send 2 copies of the trust and 2 copies of the form 1 ?
The second question is if my trust's name is "M. Mouse Firearms Revocable Living Trust" Does this have to be engraved word for word on the firearm , or is "M. Mouse Trust" acceptable? I have read that Revocable Living does not need to be engraved.
Last question.. The Kriss Vector is odd in its design to say the least. Where would the engraving have to be done? would I have to have a window or hole cut in the polymer and have the metal of the frame engraved or can it be done in the polymer of the frame? Not sure how critical they are of this.
Thanks for any and all help. I have days invested into searches and am still confused. Also does the NFA division of the BATFE answer questions like these over the phone or do they expect you to find the info on your own?
