Somewhere online I saw a pic posted of a 1911, with what I believe was a two tone park job. The frame (and slide?) were grey. And the controls and buttons were black.

It looked really sharp and I'm trying to find it because I'm tossing around color schemes and that's the main idea I have in my head right now.

Any help with this pic, or others of similar design would be appreciated.

I don't THINK any manufacturer ever did that on purpose. The finish combo might have been aftermarket.

Yeah, that's what I'm pretty sure of too. That's why I'm pulling my hair out trying to find it.

The closest thing I can find is it would be similar to the Wilson Combat Tactical Super Grade pistol. The difference IIRC would be the slide is grey, and the safety, mag release, slidestop, sights, grip safety are black. Well something like that anyway

The Kimber Tacticals are two-tone black & gray. I don't know if that is they are the ones you're thinking of.

Good looking pistol, closer to what I was thinking of. That does have the black colored controls unlike the Wilson.

Maybe I was just dreaming??? :uhoh: :D
