Hello everyone,
I am looking to sell my AR, and I'd like to get some opinions on if my asking price is fair enough.

Here are the specifications of the rifle:

-Bushmaster XM15 E2S/ A2 variant with the BMP heavy barrel
-Mako rail system attached to the lower hand guard
-Winchester collapsible Bi-pod
-Tapco fore grip
-UTG 4x20 scope
-3 Bushmaster factory magazines (30 rnd capacity)

I plan on giving the field bag with the rifle as well (it's a Bulldog brand, rather nice actually). The rifle is in excellent condition, used just out on the range. I'm starting the asking at 1400, does this seem fair enough? Thanks in advance.

I'd look at gunbroker.com. See what the rifle is currently selling for. Add something for the accessories, but realize not everyone wants what you have.
I just saw a Colt 6920 NIB for $1200+ so a Bushmaster probably isn't going to bring $1400.
But good luck, sounds like a nice rifle.

Last month I purchased a 6920 for $1190 to my FFL. Now is a great time to buy, not so good to sell. Wait for the next scare.

There are a couple Bushmaster XM15s on Gunbroker that look to be going for about $750-800 once the auctions end so your price may be a little optimistic. The accessories you're listing aren't really going to add anything to the price of the rifle, you'd probably be better off selling them separately.

The prices of AR's has gone down considerably in the past six months. You can buy a new BM A2 HBAR for $800-850. That's with case and two mags. I think your asking price is optimistically high. To be blunt I would say $900 would be optimistic.

It's pretty easy to get upside down in a rifle, we've all done it. You can keep it and hope for a increase in demand or sell and eat your losses.
