Looking for Best Saddle Mount

Shotgun scope mount for Mossberg 500 so that I can scope the gun for turkey hunting and other small game. I don't want to tap the receiver and I can't find a cantilevered turkey barrel so what is the best product saddle mounts. Eyes are getting old and scopes seem to really help now. Saddle mounts suck IMO. Why not get it drilled and tapped? You won't hurt the collectors value or anything. B-Square makes a mount that clamps on the vent rib to act as a cantilever. One other option is Millet makes a set of rings that clamp on the rib, but would require a scout type long eye relief scope.

mscott, what is it that you don't like. I've had one on my 870 for 2 years with no problem. What's not to like?
