I'm looking for Ruger 15 round Hi Cap mags for my P89. I'm finding prices as high as 40 bucks which is what I paid for a few during the first AWB. Anybody got a link to somewhere I could find them cheaper? None of the local shops seem to have them very regularly. Looking to stock up on a few before the next AWB comes through.

Also was wondering if anyone had tried the ProMag 15 round extended mags for the P90 .45ACP? I see them for sale at gunbroker all the time. Anyone used any? Reliable?

Try ebay for your P89 magazines.

Factory P90 magazines work very well. I haven't been tempted to try the hyperthyroid Promags.

Actually, don't try eBay for your 15 round Ruger mags. eBay forbids buying or selling "high capacity" (even if they're original capacity) magazines for anything, and they'll close your eBay account, close your PayPal account, and steal all of your PayPal funds in limbo with no recourse.

I know because they did it to me. They rightly figured I wasn't going to sue them over the 36 dollars in my account at the time because it wasn't worth it.

GunBroker, "eBay" for guns.

Or maybe try these:

MidwayUSA - linked to their Ruger mags.

CDNN - also direct linked to mags.

I have a couple of ProMags for my P93 & PC9. They seem to work alright for me, but a number of folks have reported problems. Mec-Gar and the Ruger factory mags are top notch, though, and what I prefer.

:)
