The oxygen issue has been raised above, but I think it is VERY important for the longevity of brass. I used to think that Gamma Seals were expensive until I factored in the cost of 20mm cans! Brass goes in:
30 cal cans or
50 cal cans or
6 gal buckets with Gamma seals.
For the price of 3 20mm cans, I can buy about a dozen gamma seals.
Eventually shelves out of 2x4's or pallet racking will hold the ammo cans/buckets.
